All of the rooms have en suite facilities except one, which has sole use of a private bathroom. For that special occasion, honeymoon or romantic weekend, there are 2 rooms with 4-poster double beds. Each room is comfortable and well equipped, with all the modern facilities you need in a relaxing base including a hospitality tray with hot drinks and biscuits; a 22-inch LCD flat-screen TV; a professional 1800-watt hairdryer with diffuser; wine glasses and a corkscrew. CDs, films and books are available for you to borrow, without charge, during your stay. Montfort Cottage uses a professional laundry service, ensuring high-quality crisp white Egyptian cotton bed linen and soft white fluffy towels. |

Montfort Cottage is conveniently situated between the villages of Windermere and Bowness, in the heart of the Lake District. Both villages are just a 10-minute walk from Montfort Cottage. By Car (from the M6 motorway): - Leave the M6 at junction 36 and head towards Windermere on the A591. - When you enter the village, follow the one-way system and head towards Bowness. - After approximately 0.5 miles (0.8 km) turn left at Baddeley Clocktower onto Lake Road. - Princes Road, where Montfort Cottage is located, is immediately on the right. - Drive along Princes Road for approximately 150 metres and Montfort Cottage is situated on the right-hand side of the road. |
