By Car - From the A1, take the A64, then the A1036 signposted York West. - Follow signs for city centre. - When you pass the Marriott Hotel on the right, take the next turning right. Follow Knavesmire Road/Campleshon Road to the end. - Go left into Bishopthorpe Road and Hillcrest Guest House is half a mile on the right. Free private parking is available. From York train station: When you arrive at York train station, go to the main entrance. Turn right and follow Queen Street (over bridge). At the traffic lights go straight over into Nunnery Lane (left side is a car park). Go to the end of Nunnery Lane and turn right into Bishops Gate, and straight on into Bishopthorpe Road. We are on top of the hill, on the left. By Bus Take bus number 11 to Bishopthorpe and exit at South Bank. |

Payment We prefer payment of your final account by debit card, cash or cheque. If paying by cheque, this should be made payable to ‘Hillcrest Guest House’. Payments by credit card carry a 2% surcharge. Damage In the event of damage to Guest House property, we reserve the right to charge to replace, repair or professionally clean the item concerned. There will be a charge of £15.00 for lost keys. |

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 10 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. There is no capacity for extra beds in the room. Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged. VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included. Service charge is included. City/tourist tax is not applicable. Internet: Wireless internet is available in the hotel rooms and is free of charge. Meal Plan: Full English breakfast is included in the room rate. Parking: Free public parking is possible on site (reservation is needed). Pets: Pets are not allowed. The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival. |
