Green Gables has a tradition of hospitality stretching back more than 75 years, opened as a hotel in 1923, successive generations of the same family have had years of experience in offering quality comfortable accommodation and a friendly welcome. For many years, the hotel has also provided a friendly, informal atmosphere for a variety of groups and conferences, with large lounges making it possible to cater for and accommodate groups of over 100. The conference facilities are available at realistic value-for-money prices with or without overnight accommodation and with the added benefit of on-site parking. Events of all types are catered for, from business meetings to day-long conferences with refreshments (all dietary requirements catered for). The hotel can also offer overnight full-board accommodation alongside its conferences facilities, making it an excellent environment for team building or training weekends, conferences, seminars, workshops and symposia. |

The Green Gables Hotel is located in Scarborough on the east coast of England, with York, Whitby, and Bridlington less then an hour’s drive away. The popular television programme Heartbeat is filmed nearby in the North York Moors National Park. The hotel lies right on the edge of the park and is a great base for those who enjoy walking in beautiful unspoilt countryside and wish to explore the area’s natural beauty. The hotel overlooks Falsgrave Park and is within easy walking distance of the South Bay beach and Scarborough town centre. The town itself is home to many attractions, and offers a large selection of pubs and restaurants catering for all tastes. All that Scarborough has to offer is within easy reach, including the Stephen Joseph Theatre, Flamingo Land and Eden Camp. Scarborough Castle and Whitby Abbey are just a short drive away. Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before date of arrival, 25 percent of all nights will be charged.
