All rooms include an en suite shower and toilet. The Leeway Hotel offers 2 single sea view rooms, 4 double sea view rooms and 3 large family rooms. There are bunk beds in the top floor family room, 2 single beds in the middle floor family room and a single bed in the first floor family room. The hotel can also provide a cot where needed. All rooms have new flat-screen TVs and a hospitality tray. Hair dryers, irons and ironing boards are available on request. The Leeway Hotel is situated in a quiet area of Scarborough, close to the castle, cricket ground and Peasholm Park. The hotel is also only a 10/15-minute walk to the main shopping area and the popular South Bay. There are bars, cafes and restaurants within a 5/10-minute walk of the hotel to suit all tastes (e.g. Thai, Chinese, Indian, Italian and English restaurants are all in the vicinity). The Sea Life Centre and the New Marina are also worth a visit. For your entertainment, there is the Spa Theatre, Stephen Joseph Theatre and the Futurist Theatre, all offering live performances most evenings. The town of Whitby is only a 30-minute drive away, with the famous Heartbeat Country and Castle Howard both reachable by car in 45 minutes. The historic city of York is an hour’s drive away. |

By Car: - Once in Scarborough, follow signs to the cricket ground. - You will find yourself on North Marine Road. After the roundabout, take the 2nd right. - Turn left into Queens Parade. - The Leeway Hotel is the first hotel on the left. Parking: Off-street parking is available at the hotel for up to 6 cars. On-street parking is also available and a 4-night parking permit (allowing you to park anywhere within the G2 zone) can be issued to you on arrival at the hotel (at a small additional cost). |
