This year, Rothay Manor is celebrating 40 years of ownership by the Nixon family. We can arrange cycle hire, horse riding, games of golf and have a fishing permit that you can use for free. All our guests have free use of a local leisure club just 1.5 miles from the hotel. |

This regency country house hotel was built in 1825 as a summer residence for a Liverpool cotton merchant. The building is grade II listed and retains many period features. Fresh flowers and antiques give the feel of a welcoming private house, where lounges are ideal for relaxing over afternoon tea or pre-dinner drinks. Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 8 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later, a fixed amount of GBP 80.00 will be charged. In case of no-show, the first night will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. All older children or adults are charged GBP 10.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged. VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included. Service charge is included. City/tourist tax is not applicable. Internet: Wireless internet is available in public areas and is free of charge. Meal Plan: Full English breakfast is included in the room rate.
