By Train: You will have to get off at Chiang Mai Railway Station and take a flight or bus to Mae Hong Son. By Plane: Thai Airways International provides a connecting service twice daily via Chiang Mai (Bangkok – Chiang Mai – Mae Hong Son: 150-minute journey time). It is a 30-minute direct flight from Chiang Mai. By tour coach or car, it is 16 hours from Bangkok and 5 to 6 hours from Chiang Mai. |
