Gålå Høgfjellshotell has 42 rooms, all pleasantly furnished in keeping with Norwegian tradition. All bathrooms have underfloor heating, which is wonderful underfoot after an invigorating shower or bath to ease aching muscles. Our single rooms have a rocking chair and a desk. Simply take a seat or sit and write to your friends and family telling them about your mountain adventures. We also have several rooms that can be used as family rooms. There is a door between one room with a double bed and another room with twin beds. Leave the door slightly ajar in the evening, and the children will feel safe in their own beds, whilst mum and dad get some time to themselves. More than half of our rooms are non-smoking rooms, and we make every effort to ensure that everything is kept neat and tidy, so that you always feel at home at Gålå Høgfjellshotell. |

In winter, there are 7 lifts and 15 alpine pistes and a weekly programme with activities such as tobogganing, frisbeegolf, snow rafting and guided snow shoe walks. In summer, Gålå Ski and Summer offers activities such as moose safari, frisbeegolf and downhill biking. At the lake Gålåvannet there are activities like fishing and boat and canoe hire. |

It is a small hotel with 42 rooms, and the hotel has existed since 1891. It has an intimate atmosphere and a restaurant well known for meals of a high standard. Around the hotel there is breathtaking nature, suitable for activities both in summer and winter. |
