The Mastino hotel is located in the centre of Verona, the most important historical city in the Veneto region, second only to Venice. The hotel is located just outside the point where the pedestrian only area begins, so you can drive straight to the hotel without any problem and then simply walk right into the centre of town. Verona itself, being located in the centre of the northern region of Italy, can be easily reached no matter how you chose to travel. The Valerio Catullo airport is nearby and it is also along the main motorways and train lines. |

-By car: To reach the Hotel Mastino take the Verona Sud motorway exit and follow the directions to the centre. Go straight ahead and just as you are approaching the square Piazza Bra – where the Roman amphitheatre Arena di Verona, home to world famous opera performances, is located – the hotel will be on your left. The hotel makes parking in the centre easy by offering its guests the possibility to book private spacious box-garages to park their cars at the price of EUR 15 per day. To book please indicate on “guest comments” window during your reservation. -By train: The Porta Nuova train station is less than 1 km from the hotel. It is about a 10-minute walk from the station (follow the bike path that starts from the exit on the right side of the station). Or from the station you can catch the bus that stops at sidewalk #1; it goes to the centre and makes only two stops along the way. There is also an efficient taxi service that will bring you directly to the hotel in less than 5 minutes. -By plane: The Valerio Catullo di Villafranca airport is located 11 km from the city – you can take the shuttle bus (Aero-bus, cost EUR 4.50, runs every 20 min.) from the airport to the Porta Nuova station. From there, use one of the methods of transport mentioned above. |
