The hotel features 2 restaurants. Le Bistro welcomes you for lunch, and Le Relais for dinner and lunch on bank holidays. The restaurants chef serves inventive cuisine in an elegant decor. The restaurant is closed on Tuesdays. Le Bistro is a traditional restaurant and in the summertime you can enjoy your lunch in the garden under the climbing vine. Le Relais is a non smoking restaurant where you can enjoy gourmet cuisine and a wide variety of local wines. |

The historical city centre is only a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Beaune is a lovely city with many cobbled streets, covered markets, townhouses and ramparts. The Hôtel-Dieu in Beaune (Hospices de Beaune) is one of the finest examples of French fifteenth-century gothic architecture and the most popular jewel of Burgundy with its courtyard and its multicoloured roof tiles. The Hôtel-Dieu was built in the middle-age as a hospital for the poor and needy. Under the cobblestones of Beaune you will find many caves built a few centuries ago, which now shelter great wines. Some caves are even open to the public for a visit and wine tasting session. Close to the hotel you will find the Bouzaize Park with its many trees, water feature, merry-go-round, playing area and small zoo; ideal for a relaxing stroll or a day out with the family. Other tourist activities in Beaune include: the Square des Lions, the wine museum, the Art museum or the Basilique Notre Dame. In the region you can find: Meursault Castle, Pommard Castle, the Cassissium (first European museum dedicated to blackcurrant), the Clos de Vougeot, the Citeaux Abbey, the Cluny Abbey, the Fontenay Abbey, Sully Castle and Germolles Castle. |

We stand on the edge of the oldest part of Beaune, within easy walking distance of the towns historic buildings. Our hotel maintains all the great Burgundian traditions of hospitality, comfort and good food and wine. The present building was constructed in the 19th century on the side of the ancient post house. The famous Hospices are only 100 metres away and its many high quality shops. The Belle Epoque style bar is the perfect setting for a relaxing drink, a game of French billiards. The Hôtel de la Postes seminar rooms seat between 10 and 30. |
