There is plenty to see and do in Leeds and the surrounding area. As you would expect, Leeds also offers the usual range of well-known high street shops and familiar department stores. There is a wealth of famous attractions nearby, including the Royal Armouries, where you can experience battle re-enactments and hundreds of historical exhibits. Yorkshire Sculpture Park and Harewood House are also just a short drive from Leeds and are both well worth a visit. Situated midway between Edinburgh and London, Leeds offers easy access to several major routes across the country, the M1/A1 for travelling north and the M62 for travelling east and west. From M62 and M1 motorways: - Exit either motorway onto the M621 at Junction 3 and follow signs for Leeds city centre. - Continue onto Neville Street and go under the railway bridges. - At the traffic lights at the top of the small incline, turn left into City Square and immediately left into the slip road in front of The Queens. Parking: The Queens has limited parking at the hotel. The car park is secure and all cars are valet parked. Spaces are offered on a first come first serve basis (spaces cannot be booked in advance).
