From the South or North: leave the m6 at junction 36 and follow the a591 towards Windermere. Turn off the a591 at Windermere, travel down the main road through Windermere until reaching an ornamental clock on your left. Turn in here and continue to the junction with Princes Road on your right. Ivythwaite Lodge is just on the left. |

Grasmere and Dove Cottage, the home of William Wordsworth are only a 20 minute drive from Ivythwaite Guest House, so whatever you choose to do, you will be able to enjoy the splendours that the Lake District has to offer. A 15 minute stroll will take you to the lively village of Bowness and the shores of Lake Windermere, where you can take a cruise or hire a rowing boat. Nearby there are also numerous pubs and restaurants to choose from and a wide selection of Lakeland curio shops. We have our own private off-road parking and are set in our own garden, where guests can relax in quiet surroundings. |

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: Children older than 8 years are welcome. Baby cots are not available. There is no capacity for extra beds in the room. Deposit Policy: 100 percent of the first night will be charged on the day of booking and is refundable. VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included. Service charge is included. City/tourist tax is not applicable. Internet: Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and is free of charge. Meal Plan: Full English breakfast is included in the room rate.
