This 3-star hotel is located in the heart of the old city centre, a mere 200 meters from the world famous Rubens House and the Meir shopping avenue. The hotel offers 150 modern, renovated and comfortable, air conditioned rooms some of which have Wi-Fi internet access, which is also available in the hotel lobby and meeting rooms. The ground floor of the hotel was fully renovated in 2007. The reception desk and the trendy Rendez Vous bar are open around-the-clock and hot snacks can be served at any time of the day. There is a sunny terrace in front of the hotel. The unlimited breakfast buffet is open from 06:30 till 10:00. Early (04:00 – 06:30) and late breakfast (10:00 – 12:00) can also be served. On weekends the hotels buffet will be served until noon ! Our complete breakfast buffet consists of 2 hot dishes and a wide range of cold products. The reception desk and bar are open round-the-clock, serving hot snacks at any time you fancy. The new hotel bar Rendez Vous offers you a stylish lounge atmosphere with a wide range of drinks and snacks available 24 hours a day. By Car: From Antwerp Ring 2: - Follow the signs to Antwerpen Singel, then leave at exit 16 - Antwerpen/Ekeren/Singel. - At the exit, turn left towards Haven 1-100/N180, following the road over the motorway. You will then arrive at Noorderlaan. - Follow this road for around 2 km, arriving at a large junction with the Metropolis Movie Centre on your right. - Go straight on and you will get to a junction with traffic lights and an Opel garage on your left. - Continue straight on, then at the next traffic lights follow the traffic flow to the left, from the middle of the road. - You are now on Italiëlei. - After you have passed the metal bridge, turn right at the 4th traffic lights into Stoopstraat. - Turn right after 50 metres and you will see the Ibis Hotel Antwerpen Centrum right in front of you. From Antwerp Ring 1: - Enter into the Kennedy tunnel, then follow the signs for Antwerpen Centrum Singel. - At the end of this exit, turn left and follow the signs to Singel Zuid. (Avoid turning right towards Antwerpen Centrum: this diversion is not a practical one) - After you have turned left keep to the right-hand side of the road. - Turn right at the traffic lights into Amerikalei. - Follow the central lane of the Boulevard. - After the 3rd traffic lights the road bends to the right. Continue straight on towards Frankrijklei following the sign saying Bestemmingsverkeer (local traffic). - Continue as far as the large junction near Keyserlei (the Adecco office is on your right-hand side). - Make a U-turn to the left and coss Frankrijklei completely, so that you are in the extreme right-hand lane. - Take the first right at Hopland, then the third street on the left - Meistraat. - At the end of the street the Ibis Hotel is on your left-hand side. Parking: Reaching the hotel by car on weekends between 10:00 and 16:00 can be difficult due to renovation works on the Market Square. The hotel advises guests to avoid the Theatre car park at these times. Qparks and Interparking are available nearby. On all other days and hours the hotel can be easily reached and the public Theatre parking can be used (20 metres from hotel). |

Located in the heart of the historical and cultural city centre, the hotel ensures easy access to Antwerp port and the city centre. Home to the Bolleken beer, the bird market and many little pubs and restaurants, Antwerp is the ideal location for a cultural sightseeing break. There are super sales in the city centre throughout January, and the main shopping centre is just around the corner of the hotel. A new shopping centre, Stadsfeestzaal, has just opened 500 metres from the hotel. The Wintervuur cultural festival offers a lot of winter activities. The hotel was renovated in 2007 and during winter 2008, there will be renovation works on the rooms. The hotel is fully air conditioned. |

Until the end of 2008, there will be building works on the theatre square in front of the hotel during weekdays. Because of the market in front of the hotel during the weekends, traffic can be very busy during the day. Therefore, the best time to arrive is early (before 11:00) or late (after 18:00). | |
