Clarion Collection Hotel Bilan is situated right in the centre of Karlstad in the old county prison of Värmland. The former cells were carefully restored and guests can still take a look at the former isolation cells situated in the cellar. Guests receive complimentary access to the relaxation department which includes a sauna and cold pool and the very popular clubroom with an open fireplace. During the warmer months, the terrace, surrounded by bushes and trees, is the perfect place to relax. |

The former cells were carefully restored and now exist as 68 tasteful and comfortable rooms. These rooms stiil retain the charm of the buildings unique history. Many have lofty ceilings and beautiful beams, which creates a warm atmosphere. |

By Air: Karlstad airport is 15 km to the south east. By Public Transport: Karlstad railway station and the local bus are 300 metres to the west; Karlstad bus station is 700 metres to the west. |
