The Retreat offers a choice of accommodation options, from the sophisticated Earls Dyke Manor to the contemporary Deck House or The Villa. Elegant, luxurious and superbly comfortable, the Manor is a place to sink into and savour. Natural beauty surrounds Deck House and The Villa. The trees and mountains offer peace, seclusion and spectacular views. All of the hotel’s luxurious and well-appointed rooms have a telephone, satellite TV, a DVD player, a minibar and a refreshment station with tea and coffee making facilities. All rooms are air conditioned and have an internet connection point offering ADSL internet access free of charge. Complimentary Wi-Fi wireless internet access is also available throughout the hotel. Rooms in Deck House and The Villa have private balconies with deck chairs. NOTE: 50% Deposit required to confirm the reservation. The balance to be paid on arrival. |

The Retreat Kitchen, Camps Bay Retreat’s restaurant, provides an intimate dining experience. Whether Peet, our executive chef, is using specially-aged meats, fresh herbs, or fresh fish, braaiing (outdoor cooking over coals), steaming, poaching, frying or even making sushi – his aim is always to delight and satisfy his guests in every way. He is always more than happy to give you a glimpse of his kitchen’s kokoro (Japanese for heart). From breakfast through to lunch and dinner, from small bites to sumptuous picnic baskets – a delicious experience awaits you! Breakfast is served from 07:00 - 11:00. Lunch is served from 12:00 – 16:00 and can be taken on the veranda or in the dining room. In the evening, treat yourself to a fabulous three-course candlelit dinner on the veranda, with only the sound of the waves in the background. You can place your order from 18:00 to 20:00. The kitchen closes at 21:00. The dinner menu changes regularly, in order to keep it as seasonal as possible. A copy of the menu is available at reception and the restaurant will gladly accommodate special requests where possible. Guests are welcome to contact Reception should they wish to have a romantic dinner somewhere else on the estate or to arrange a picnic hamper. The hotel will try its best to arrange the perfect dining experience. |

Exit Airport – Direction N2 Cape Town Follow N2 Stad/City signs Approx.8.5km: Industrial Cyclos on the right. 13.4 km: M3 Muizenberg, Rhodes Drive turn off to Left. 14.1 km: Groote Schuur Hospital on right. Stay in the middle of the lane and follow N2 City, Foreshore, Sea Point signs 17.8 km: Herzog Blvd, Paarl, City/Stad, N1 turn off to the left.Continue on M6 to waterfront 19.5 km: Traffic light. Coen Steytler Avenue. Waterfront turn off to the right. Continue in direction of Camps Bay/ Cableway, M62 The road becomes Kloofnek Road At the top of the mountain, at the circle, continue on towards Camps Bay. Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 14 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, 50 percent of all nights will be charged.
