		Room information
		The hostel has over 800 beds, which includes shared and private rooms. The rooms are all single bunk beds and the bathrooms are shared facilities located on each floor. Bed linen is included. The rooms are all dormitory style rooms with the smallest room having 2 bed and the largest having 8 beds. They are all bunk beds with a wash basin in each room and a locker provided for each bed.

		Travel information
		By public transport: Take the Piccadilly Line Underground to Russell Square. From there cross over the road onto Marchmont Street, walk to the traffic lights and turn right onto Tavistock Place. At number 37 Tavistock Place turn down into Compton Place - the Generator is at the end. You can also walk to us from Kings Cross and Euston stations. 		Quick description
		The UKs largest, liveliest and funkiest hostel is located in the centre of London, and with over 800 beds it is the perfect place to meet other backpackers from all over the world. Centrally located near Russell Square Tube station, the hostel offers private twin, triples, quad and 5-bed rooms, all with a wash basin. Free continental breakfast is included, as are free bed linen and towels. You can also enjoy free hot showers 24 hours a day. Party the night away in the famous Generator Bar, open 18:00 to 02:00 every night. A free drink is offered for all arriving guests over 18 years old. Happy hour is from 18:00 to 21:00, when all drinks are only GBP 1.50. There are events every night, including karaoke on Thursdays and a live DJ on Saturdays. On Wednesdays and Sundays there are free movies. The Generator also has an internet café, a lounge area and games room with pool tables, all open 24 hours. Bookings for groups aged under 18 years are on request only.

		Important information
		We do not accept American Express! All the rooms at The Generator are non-smoking. However, we have smoking and non-smoking areas throughout the hostel. ALL group bookings over 10 people need to contact us once they have booked rooms, as we require FULL PAYMENT 1 month before the arrival to avoid cancellation. We do not accept group bookings with students under the age of 18 years old. Sorry, we do not allow animals EXCEPT guide/hearing dogs.

		Cancellation policy
		Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: Children cannot be accommodated at the hotel. There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged. VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included. Service charge is included. City/tourist tax is included. Internet: Wireless internet is available in public areas and charges are applicable.
