The history of the Hotel Restaurant Het Roode Hert starts around 1595. Het Roode Hert was an inn in the West Frisian region on the road between Hoorn and Enkhuizen. For 4 centuries Het Roode Hert has been a shelter for those on their way to find a resting place where they could eat, drink and stay overnight. This former guesthouse is now a multifunctional renowned venue where the style of the past is still clearly present. With a rich history and culinary tradition, this hotel offers high-quality gastronomy and service. In the course of time this hotel has received a variety of national and international authorities. Nowadays it is still the meeting point for international business travellers. The hotel’s team of motivated professionals offer warm hospitality and are there to assist you and take into account your wishes. We feel responsible for you and your guests and make quality and service a high priority. Het Roode Hert has a number of attractive spaces that offer enough space to receive 700 guests for receptions, meetings, product presentations and parties.
