The central feature of Lloyd Hotel is its Cultural Embassy. The mission of the Embassy is to open up Dutch art, culture and science for the guests of the hotel. All 117 rooms in the Lloyd Hotel – ranging from one to five stars – offer a different experience. These entail a difference in design, surface area and therefore rate. Much attention has been given to the interior of the rooms. A number of exciting Dutch Designers (Claudy Jongstra, Hella Jongerius, De Bazel, Marcel Wanders, Richard Hutten, to name but a few) have created several of the furniture pieces. The Lloyd Hotel is very well situated; it is located in the fashionable Eastern Docklands near the city centre, only 5 minutes by tram from Central Station. Access from the ring-road is easy and many rooms offer lovely views over the water. The hotel has paid parking facilities in a nearby parking garage. There is also plenty of space in front of the hotel if you are interested in getting there by boat. | |

By car, approaching from the A10 ring road: - Take the exit for S114 (Zeeburg/Centrum/Artis) and follow the signs for the centre. - This will lead you into the Piet Hein tunnel, keep to the right hand lane. When you exit the tunnel turn right at the lights, onto the Piet Heinkade. - Turn right at the first lights. The road takes a sharp turn to the right, you are now on the Oostelijke Handelskade. - If you wish to park in the parking garage, turn right into the garage after the 2nd building. If not, keep going straight ahead along the Oostelijke Handelskade. The Lloyd Hotel is located 400 metres along on the right hand side. Public transport from Central Station: The express tram or sneltram number 26 will go as far as IJburg. Get on at Central Station and get off at the 3rd stop, called Rietlandpark (100 metres from the Lloyd Hotel). |

It is just 5 minutes by tram from Central Station, has (paid) parking facilities and it has free WIFI in the public areas. The hotels 117 rooms have been furnished with care and detail and many of them have individually created furniture pieces by famous Dutch designers and artists. The hotel has a restaurant called Snel, (best translated as brisk), a recording studio, a nomadic library and a kitchen for the use of those hotel guests who prefer to cook for their own visitors. Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later, 50 percent of the first night will be charged. In case of no-show, the first night will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. All children from 3 to 12 years stay free of charge for extra beds. All older children or adults are charged EUR 35.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of total guests in a room is 4. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged. VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included. Service charge is included. 5 % city/tourist tax per room per night is not included. Internet: Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and is free of charge. Meal Plan: Buffet breakfast is not included and costs EUR 17.50 per person. Parking: Public parking is possible on site and costs EUR 2.50 per hour. Pets: Pets are allowed. No extra charges.
