Hotel Tatenhove is situated in a rustic environment at the edge of bading-resort De Koog. At the backside of the hotel you can enjoy a wide view over pastures with a lot of different animals. Its a 5 minute walk to the center of the Village De Koog, where you can find shops, bars and restaurants. Within a 15 minute walk you are in the woods or at the beach. Very near are some horse-rentals where you can get a horse for a nice ride through the woods of Texel. Also in the direct neighborhood is a Sub-tropic swimming-pool. We give out discount coupons for the swimming-pool to our guests. Our hotel is a pleasant family hotel with 31 rooms. There is a comfortable lounge with a homelike ambiance, a fireplace and billiards. The dining room with a glazed veranda has an unforgettable view. In the gardens around the hotel, there are few different terraces. At the backside of the hotel is a terrace at the pond with all kinds of ducks. There you can enjoy the sun, a drink and the countryside. |

We have rooms of different sizes. The sizes are from 16m2 till more then 26m2. Our comfortable rooms all contain cable T.V., telephone, alarm clock with a radio and a bathroom with a shower or a bath-tub. Most of the rooms have a sitting-area and a balcony or a terrace. | |

Our breakfast buffet is available from 08:00 till 10:00. We serve lunch from noon till 14:00. We serve a daily 3-course menu; always changing but maintaining its high quality. Dinner starts between 18:00 and 18:30. The lounge with bar is open daily from 08:00 till 23:30. |

The ferry to Texel is departing from Den Helder. How to get to Hotel Tatenhove by car: When you get of the ferry, you are on the main way of the Island. The way is called Pontweg. The Pontweg has got side-ways with numbers. Take side-way 16. and take the first road to the right. When you did that, you will see the hotel at the left side. Hotel Tatenhove the place where you can fully enjoy the peace and nature of our beautiful Island. By Taxi: At the ferry-terminal in Den Helder you can buy a ticket for the Taxi. The taxi will be waiting on the Island. Just give your ticket to the driver and tell him where to go. |

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 31 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled up to 14 days before date of arrival, 15 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, 35 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, 60 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled up to 1 day before date of arrival, 85 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. One child under 2 years stays free of charge in a baby cot. Extra beds are not available. Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged. VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included. Service charge is included. EUR 0.85 city/tourist tax per room per night is not included. Internet: Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and is free of charge. Meal Plan: Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. Parking: Free Public parking is possible on site.
