The island of Texel is 25 kilometers long and 8 kilometers wide. It is an ideal place to unwind and appreciate nature. Almost all of Texel’s dunes are a national park, which also includes some forestland. The variety of landscapes, ranging from forest to dunes to seashore, makes the national park a fascinating area that is well worth protecting. Texel offers numerous activities for tourists at all times of the year. Although, the summer is high season, spring and autumn are equally suited to a pleasant stay.
